GENERAL

I cannot say that I have always been into sport and fitness. Some may think this would set me back, but I believe that it sets me aside from other personal trainers, as I can relate more easily to clients hoping to start their fitness journey but have the fear of not knowing what to do or more importantly don’t have the confidence to do it.

I started my fitness journey around 2 years ago and have changed my outlook on the way I view fitness in relation to whole mental wellness. Physical fitness can change your entire mindset and create happiness and contentment. From the day I started my fitness journey, all I wanted to do was to educate others and help them to understand the importance of being active and how much it will alter their mood. “You are only one workout away from a good mood.”

HOW I CHOOSE TO TRAIN

I particularly enjoy compound movements such as Squats and Deadlifts; I like to focus on form, technique, range of movement and then adding weight with progression. When it comes to my own personal development, I focus on strength training.

I am a firm believer of being STRONG. It is very well known that women think weights are for men only and are terrified of training with heavy weights because they think they will bulk up. I aim to change the way women look at weight training.

I also enjoy spin classes and I am a qualified instructor. I like trying out new classes to test myself.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN TRAINING WITH ME?

I will not only train you for the time you are with me but I will also educate you to be able to train in your own time by yourself with confidence. My aim is to make everyone I train feel comfortable, not judged within a gym environment and confident enough to create new goals and try new exercises without my guidance. It is important to be educated as to why you are performing an exercise and what benefit it serves.
