Working up a sweat in a spin studio is an incredible, low-impact and effective way to burn calories and tone muscle. Our spinning classes are suitable for all fitness levels.
We also offer fun and inspiring coaching help you through your spin class, workouts and meet your own fitness and body goals.
Our club has a very welcoming atmosphere. We don’t believe screaming at someone on a bike is helpful. CityCise is all about making it a fun experience and leaving you excited for the next class or workout.
We use Zonefit methods in our spin studio. It is the culmination of over 5 years work for co founders Scott and Helen Holmes, who have drawn on over 80 years combined experience in endurance training to create the programme.
Zonefit is quite simply, the ultimate in heart rate interval training, which successfully implements elite training techniques at an amateur and enthusiast level.
Scott, a BCF Cycling coach and former National Road Race Champion has used his own training experience, as well as that of coaching elite athletes, to shape an indoor cycling heart rate training programme, with the unmistakable outdoor cycling experience. Additionally, co-founder Helen Holmes, is a former Keiser master instructor and internationally acclaimed trainer and VO2 assessor.
Through working with Scott, Helen has enveloped the elite training principles into a fun and engaging training card programme that can be utilised at group and individual levels to deliver effective and sustainable training for life!
Due to this Zonefit classes are for all, it’s for fitness, weight loss, accurate training, progression or just for fun!

We do recommend you bring a sweat towel, since we’re gonna make you sweat!
